That’s right. Shaykh Yaser Birjas is back in midtown Manhattan for the Code of Scholars: Usool Al Fiqh!
The next two weekends are spent exploring this exciting topic under the skillful guidance and excellent teaching style unique to our beloved Shaykh. We learn about ‘sofa seat’, ‘bucket seat’ and ‘football field’ faraa’id and understand the application of these rulings through the Shaykh’s awesome practical examples.
The seminar draws to a close with the presentation of an awesome Tayybah photo montage, which incorporates the principles of Fiqh, and interestingly, the presence of quite a few AlMaghrib Ameers (and members of a certain Shaykh’s family.) Usool al Fiqh was an amazing seminar, which provided us the opportunity to witness firsthand the dedication of Shaykh Yaser in imparting this knowledge to us and after which we will count the days until we hear him address us again as…”Ya Jama’ah…”
