Preserving the Jewels of Islaamic Knowledge

A Little Motivation

Posted by tayybahppn on April 8, 2009

Ramadan is literally half way over and now there are one of two feelings going through us. We’re either saying: “Alhumdullillah I hope the last half of Ramadan goes as good or even better than the first half”
or awww not again, this was the year Ramadan was suppose to be reallllyyyyy special for me, but still I haven’t found it yet”. In either case, we all need advice for the rest of Ramadan, especially the last 10 nights….so whose going to help me? Who’s going to help all of us?

Abu Hamzah Anas bin Malik , who was the servant of the Messenger of Allah , reported that the Prophet  said:

“None of you truly believes (in Allah and in His religion) until he loves for his brother what he loves for himself”

[Al-Bukhari & Muslim]

So here is what is what I remind you and myself!

Throughout the month of Ramadan, we constantly hear that this is the month which the Quran was revealed in and that we should devout much of our time to the Quran this month. I ask myself before anyone else, How many of us actually do? How many of us go beyond reciting the Quran? (no doubt there is great reward in reciting the Quran)

So how about it guys?

Let’s recite….

Let’s reflect…

Let’s ponder….

Let’s remember….

Let’s learn and study…

what the Lord of All the Worlds says in the Quran…………

Lets do it together!

In these last days spend 5 minutes and share one of your favorite ayah (or more) and what lesson, reminders, or motivation we can take from it.

What advice or reminders do you have to share?
